«Ten years ago, something terrible happened...»: a new GOBB LTTTA image with the Bring-A-Friend Day stickers
The Euphoric Brothers post a new image of Garten of Banban: Last Ticket to the Abyss: a sheet of «Bring-A-Friend Day» stickers on an old table and the text «Ten years ago, something terrible happened...». Everything suggests LTTTA will tell us what happened that day.
Today, Friday, October 23, a new official image of Garten of Banban: Last Ticket to the Abyss has appeared, with the round Euphoric Brothers logo in the top left and the Garten of Banban logo in the top right. And it is not just any image: it goes straight to the heart of the lore.
What the image shows
On an old, worn wooden table, in complete darkness, there is a sheet of stickers with this title:
«Bring-A-Friend Day Stickers!»
On the sheet there are two badge-shaped stickers (one orange and one green, both with a star), the warning «Caution: Peel Slowly» and, at the very bottom, the Banban’s Kindergarten logo.
And at the bottom of the image, the text that changes everything:
«Ten years ago, something terrible happened…»
Why Bring-A-Friend Day matters so much
Bring-A-Friend Day is not a decorative detail. It is the day the children disappeared from Banban’s kindergarten, and it is already mentioned in the documents we collect in the GOBB LTTTA section.
An image that talks about «ten years ago» and puts the stickers from that very day in the foreground makes the direction clear: LTTTA is going to look into the past, at the exact moment everything went wrong.
In the background, a kindergarten mural
The background of the image is a very dark wall. If you brighten it, you can see it is a mural painted with hills and trees, like the ones that decorate the walls of Banban’s kindergarten. The table is not just anywhere: it is inside the kindergarten.
Brighten it and a silhouette appears
That same brightened image hides something that is not part of the mural. In the middle, right behind the edge of the table, a dark, rounded mass peeks out, darker than the painted hills, as if something were crouching behind the table, watching. It is The Stalker. The name is not ours: it comes from the files of Garten of Banban 8: Antidevil, which include a pixel-art image of its face called Pixel_Face__The_Stalker_.png.
Pixel_Face__The_Stalker_.png, in the files of Garten of Banban 8: Antidevil. Image: Garten of Banban Wiki (Fandom). It hiding right here, in the kindergarten and next to the Bring-A-Friend Day stickers, hardly seems like a coincidence.
An old table, stickers nobody ever got to use and a kindergarten in the dark. Everything suggests that LTTTA will tell us what happened that day and, with luck, where our children are: where the children of Banban’s Kindergarten ended up.
My theory: what happened on Bring-A-Friend Day
Bring-A-Friend Day was a disaster, and it happened on October 23, 2016: exactly ten years ago.
Uthman Adams and Weverly Mason were working on their experiments, and only two were ready to be introduced: Stinger Flynn and Captain Fiddles.
Captain Fiddles was the best prepared: he has the best qualities to connect with children, and that is why he was the first to be introduced. He also has something the rest do not: he is mute. He cannot speak. In the game’s internal files and at certain moments he can let out loud grunts or comical «Booga Ooga»-style sounds, but he has no vocal cords and no ability to form words.
During the event, the children were playing with Weverly Mason in the ball pit, but something broke and screams were heard. Stinger Flynn went to rescue them with his powers and took them somewhere safe.
The children’s notes confirm it: we are a mother looking for her child, and her child is having a great time with Claire. But Weverly Mason did not like Stinger Flynn.
Does it fit the Friday pattern?
In our article about the Friday pattern we said that, if what happened before Teaser 3 repeated itself, Friday, October 23 would be the announcement day and Friday the 30th the day of Teaser 4.
Well: today is Friday the 23rd and new official LTTTA material appears. That fits the pattern. But we have to be precise: the image does not include any date, so for now Teaser 4 still has no announced date. If the pattern holds completely, the logical thing would be for the dated announcement to arrive in the next few days and for the teaser to drop on Friday the 30th, right in Halloween week. We will have to wait.
Anyway, I am glad to see the Euphoric Brothers getting the community hyped. Let us see what next Friday brings. I am still waiting for my Teaser 4.
